Bylaws

At the 73rd Annual Convention to be held in Wichita, Kansas April 15 - 17, 2010 the membership will approve the proposed bylaws.

KSRT  Members:

Times are changing and our bylaws need to evolve.   After hours of discussion and effort the Bylaws Committee and Board of Directors are proposing this version for membership approval at the Annual Meeting in Wichita April 15, 16 & 17, 2010.

There are three major changes to the bylaws.

  1. Inclusion of definitions and procedures related to the KSRT Delegates to the ASRT House of Delegates
  2. Elimination of District Affiliates within the KSRT.   This move was prompted by enforcement of IRS laws related to the tax exempt status for the ASRT and KSRT
  3. Addition of Area Representatives to the Board of Directors.   With the loss of District Presidents the Area Representatives should allow geographic Board involvement and leadership availability for continuing education offerings under the KSRT affiliation with the ASRT for approval purposes.

Please read these proposed Bylaws.   These have been reviewed and found to be acceptable by the ASRT Parliamentarian.    A version showing deletions and additions to the current bylaws is available on our website ksrad.org for your review or contact a committee member with your questions.

The members present at the Annual Meeting will vote on acceptance of these bylaws that will govern OUR PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION !
